ICE / Attributes and evidence

Start from a project

Describe a piece of work and identify the professional evidence it may provide.

LEARNING GUIDE

Use this material to examine your own work. Confirm current requirements, forms and dates with ICE before applying.

Begin with a job you worked on, described in your own words. Then consider how the experience relates to the attributes.

Ten questions, none of them about ICE. What were you responsible for? What did you personally decide? What constraints were you working inside? What changed? What else could you have done? Who did you have to persuade? What happened? What do you take from it?

They are the questions a reviewer would work through, asked in the order somebody who was there would naturally answer them. As you write, the tool looks at your own words and points at areas they touch.
