Two trained reviewers conduct the remote interview over sixty to ninety minutes. They assess whether you have achieved all ten Core Objectives at the minimum standards for your grade.
Preparing evidence for all ten objectives
You are responsible for demonstrating the required standard. Identify the evidence for each objective before the interview and be ready to discuss it. An objective that never enters the discussion may remain undemonstrated.
Documents reviewers read beforehand
Reviewers receive your portfolio, ten IPD final report forms and two-page experience report. The interview lets them question the claims, discuss the work and clarify gaps. Prepare to explain every item you submit.
Managing the discussion
The interview lasts sixty to ninety minutes, depending on the time needed to establish the standard for each objective. Length alone does not indicate a result. Introduce important evidence early enough for discussion.
Preparing for a remote interview
Test the platform, camera and audio on the machine you will use. Keep the portfolio open and bookmarked, with page references ready. A reference such as *"That's on page 143, under objective 6"* helps reviewers find the relevant evidence.
